IMPORTANT! The high school has sent the following warning:

The School parking is located on the right side of the building. If you find that the lot is full, you MUST find street parking. No one is allowed to park along the driveway. Or in front of the building along the side walks near the entrance doors. There will be a Parking Enforcement Officer giving summons to whoever is not parked in the proper space. Last year, our security guard did his best to save them last year but no guarantees this year. 

Please help us avoid any issues with the parking enforcement officer. So that we all can enjoy our event on our big day. Thank you!

Sat, June 22nd, 2024 - 1p-2:15p - Spring Showcase (Recital) Day!

At: Croton Harmon High School

Doors Open at: 12:00pm / Showtime: 1:00pm - 2:15pm

Kids should arrive dressed in costume and shoes. Girls have hair and makeup done as instructed.

SHOW ATTIRE

Your child should arrive in Full costume, wearing the outfit for the first dance number they are performing. Also, bring any other costume(s) and shoes for their wardrobe change(es).  See the show order below. Please make sure to remember all pieces to your dancer’s costume(s) with accessories.

COSTUME CHANGES
Our staff will be backstage assisting your child with costume changes. Click on the "Showcase Program" button above at the beginning of this page. To see the order of the costume your child will be wearing according to the Show line up.

PARENTS! If you would like to be the one helping your child change, you can do so. But, we need for you to communicate this to us right away. It will be very helpful to us if you let Ms. Addie know as soon as possible, for our planning purposes.

NO ADDITIONAL JEWLERY ALLOWED

The Only jewlery allowed are Diamond-like stud earrings. Otherwise, please remove any dangling earrings, chains and bracelets. They are not allowed on stage during performances.

HAIR & MAKE-UP

BOYS HAIR
Comb their hair slicked back/up as far away from their face as possible. So not to obstruct their eyes during stage time.

GIRLS RECITAL HAIR

- Ballet Dancers Recital Hair: Hair should be parted on the left side and brushed back into a bun.

- Hip-Hop Dancers AND Latin Dance Recital Hair: Your child should wear their hair half-up in the front and the back half down (loose). Please make sure the front hair is completely slicked back - no bangs hanging out. If your dancer’s hair is too short to do in the specified style, please talk to Ms. Addie ahead of time.

GIRLS MAKE-UP

We recommend dancers wear light eye makeup, soft blush shade and a light color lipstick/lipgloss. It is recommended to have your dancer wear at least a little make-up so they do not get washed out by the lights on stage.

VOLUNTEERS

We are always in need of volunteers. If any parents, family members or friends would like to volunteer on Showcase day (Sat, June 22nd), Please contact me (Addie) as soon as possible.

VESTIMENTA

Su hija(o) debe llegar vestido con su vestuario completo, vistiendo el traje para el primer número de baile que realizará. Además, traiga cualquier otro vestuario y zapatos para su cambio de ropa. Haga clic al botón "Showcase Program" arriba, al principio de esta página. Para ver el orden del disfraz que usará su hijo según el cartel del Show.

CAMBIOS DE VESTUARIO

MADRES! Nuestro personal estará detrás del escenario ayudando a su hija(o) con los cambios de vestuario. Si desea ser quien ayude a su hija(o) a cambiar, puede hacerlo. Pero necesitamos que nos comunique esto de inmediato. Nos será de gran ayuda si le informa a la Sra. Addie lo antes posible para nuestros fines de planificación. 

NO SE PERMITEN JOYAS ADICIONALES

Las únicas joyas permitidas son aretes con forma de diamante. De lo contrario, quítese los pendientes, cadenas y pulseras que cuelguen. No se les permite subir al escenario durante las actuaciones.

PELO MAQUILLAJE

PEINADO DE NIÑOS

Peina su cabello hacia atrás/arriba lo más lejos posible de su cara. Para no obstruir sus ojos durante el tiempo en el escenario.

PEINADO PARA NIÑAS

- Cabello de Bailarinas de Ballet: El cabello debe dividirse en el lado izquierdo y peinarse hacia atrás formando un moño.

- NIÑAS: Cabello de Bailadoras de Hip-Hop Y de Danza Latina: Su hija debe llevar el cabello mitad recogido en la parte delantera y parte trasero suelto. Asegúrate de que el cabello frontal esté completamente peinado hacia atrás, sin flequillo colgando. Si el cabello de su bailadora es demasiado corto para peinarlo con el estilo especificado, hable con la Sra. Addie con anticipación.

MAQUILLAGE:     
Recomendamos que los bailarinas usen maquillaje de color rosita claro, un tono de rubor suave y un lápiz labial/brillo de labios de color claro. Se recomienda que su bailarín use al menos un poco de maquillaje para que las luces del escenario no lo borre.

VOLUNTARIOS

Siempre necesitamos voluntarios. Si algún padre, familiar o amigo desea ser voluntario el día de la exhibición (Sábado 22 de Junio). Por favor contácteme (Addie) lo antes posible.
