Open Level Class
This class introduces students to traditional West African dance and culture. Students will develop body strength and flexibility by learning intricate feet patterns, hand movements, and full movement sequences.
There is a break-down of the steps and movements. High energy dancing, with a community dance circle.

Class Description
West African Dance Class
Traditional dance and contemporary African dance style that are inherent in the culture of the West African peoples.
Get ready to explore Africa without a passport and learn to move muscles you didn’t know you had!
This African Dance class is not only a workout, it’s an education and journey one experiences each time they move their bodies to these beautiful rhythms.
This high energy class adds living flavor, nourishing both body and soul.
Open to participants at all dance levels.
Suggested Attire
- Comfortable clothing in which you can easily move: Tank top, Sports Bra, Leggings. If possible a bright color scarf around the hips.
- We encourage Bare-feet in class, Another option can be Jazz shoes

- Bottled water and gatorade available for purchase.
HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
We are Safely prepared to receive students for all classes

- MASKS: Mask wearing is now optional in African dance classes. Face masks are no longer required in class, if you choose not to.
- Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the facility.
- We follow the current mandatory directive on allowed capacity.
- The facility is disinfected by our cleaning service and by staff throughout our time at the studio.

We are located on the Lower Level. Take the stairs at the immediate right when you enter the building. Or the Elevator down 1 flight.
REFUNDS
REFUNDS AFTER PURCHASE
Please note, we do not give refunds after purchases are made for any reason. In the event of an emergency, we will provide studio credit for up to 6 months from date of purchase. Classes can be switched to any group classes from our Adults programs that the client prefers.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Available for all Adult Lessons and Kids Programs.
Gift certificates can be delivered to you by email,
postal mail or may be picked-up at the studio.
