Salsa On2 / Latin Dance Instructor

Addie-tude Cultural Arts Center is seeking an experienced, patient, fun, enthusiastic and friendly individual to join their team of instructors! Who loves working with children. Preferrably from the Westchester County area. Must have On2 Salsa dance training.

We are located in Pleasantville, NY (Westchester County). And are opening registration for the fall. We will be running 2-4 classes a week depending on enrollment. Saturday morning classes. as well as on a weekday or two. Usually starting from 5pm or 6pm on.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and be a team player. We prefer to meet with candidates that live in Westchester County with reliable transportation. To avoid lateness and absences. Reliable transportation with a car is preferred.

Please be advised that this is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.

Essential Functions and Job Duties:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching dance classes and working with youth and teens in a structured setting.
• Passion to work with kids at a beginner level.
• Stage performance background.
• Able to create choreography.
• Know how to edit music would be great, but not required.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Both virtual and In-person teaching experience is a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish would be helpful. But not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $50.00 per Class
